We’re looking for an empathetic Product Designer to help us build and grow our product. This is a very hands-on role with self-management responsibilities. The position will evolve as the team grows. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You’ll help not only collaborate on MaintainX experience but inspire and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking a user experience first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted every time they use our product. 

As Sr. Product Designer, you will be involved across the entire product lifecycle, from ideas through wireframing and prototyping to final design.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll work in all Product Initiatives, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team that involves not only Design but also Engineering, Growth, Content and Sales teams, where you will find yourself ideating and discussing main features with project founders and company leads.
  • You will work on end-to-end projects, collaborating on scope definition, analysis, wireframing, prototyping and delivery of usable and delightful designs based on product definitions.
  • Present your work to the team effectively and communicate your decision making process in a clear way, being able to integrate feedback coming from different perspectives and needs.
  • Help cultivate the design culture of the team and the company, including championing user-centric design thinking across all our initiatives and maintaining a collaborative design process.
  • Collaborate on defining and document our Design System, collaborating with other designers and developers to work and iterate our current components and layouts.
  • Participate in the development process from definition through design, build, test, release and maintenance of the product features.
  • You have a proven track record of designing products that users love. You have a background as a UX/UI - Product Designer.
  • You are a Figma heavy user and have a deep knowledge on design and engineering tools and languages.
  • You have empathy for customer needs but can also consider technical constraints and business goals. You’re passionate about inclusive design and accessibility, and you’ll design with all our users in mind.
  • You’re flexible in your approach and embrace a challenge; you can come up with new ways of answering research questions quickly and communicating the results in a memorable, impactful way.
  • You are comfortable working in a team environment where exchanging ideas and constructive feedback is natural.
  • You own a portfolio of relevant design work to share with us that illustrates your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific problems.

About you:

  • 4+ years in Mobile and/or Desktop UX/UI - Product role.
  • Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.
  • Good understanding of intuitive design patterns and micro-interactions.
  • Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
  • Good English level for speaking and communicate effectively your ideas.
  • Ability to perform in fast paces process.
