As the Creative Director, of Marketing at MaintainX, you will be instrumental in owning, defining and enhancing the company's long term creative identity. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, your responsibilities will encompass hands-on, creative work and strategic oversight to establish a unified and impactful visual identity across multiple platforms. You will guide the internal marketing creative team (5 contributors) and external partners in crafting design direction that is modern and engages customers, fosters brand loyalty, and drives business growth. Collaborating closely with marketing business units, your role is to creatively highlight our products and ensure brand consistency. 

What you’ll do:

  • Articulate and implement a compelling and modern creative vision in alignment with marketing strategies and business objectives.
  • Guarantee the highest quality of creative execution, maintaining brand consistency, messaging, and excellence across all channels and platforms.
  • Uphold brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all creative projects.
  • Partner with marketing teams to devise and execute distinctive, impactful campaigns that captivate our target audience.
  • Partner with Product Design to ensure our brand guidelines are carried throughout our product.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of designers, fostering excellence and coherence in visual outputs while managing project priorities and schedules.
  • Define project timelines, allocate resources, and oversee deliverables, ensuring timely completion.

About you:

  • A degree in advertising, marketing, fine art, design, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a creative role, within a marketing agency and/or corporate environment.
  • Ability to go hands-on when needed for creative and video development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in branding, with a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to produce visually engaging solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver innovative and strategic brand experiences, particularly for a mobile-first audience.
  • Experience leading diverse creative teams and managing freelance talent.
  • A strong creative vision aligned with business goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating creative concepts and strategies to non-creative stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and advertising.
