Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

This role is based in Georgia and any candidates who accept an offer for this position is expected to reside in the state of Georgia throughout the duration of the internship.

Technical Content, under the Customer Education umbrella, is looking for a Technical Content Producer Intern to join our team. We create and manage all the educational content at mailchimp.com/help — as well as tutorials and webinars you find on our YouTube channel — providing information to empower users to better understand and use our application. The team consists of video and digital producers, writers, and content strategists who collaborate together to create and maintain up-to-date educational content for Mailchimp. 

An ideal candidate is a skilled, empathetic, and creative person who can research and simply explain complex concepts using a variety of visual media. You are driven to problem solve and care deeply about helping others. We value creative, self-driven individuals who care about the work they produce and the people they work with.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with video producers to create visual assets (video, gifs, motion graphics, etc.) for how-to educational videos
  • Maintain visual assets in-line with new product releases and updates
  • Collaborate with writers and producers to write, record, edit, and publish video content 
  • Brainstorm new, fresh ways of providing educational content to users
  • Use metrics to measure success of new assets 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience working with NLE softwares such as Premiere, Avid, Final Cut, Pro Tools, GarageBand, etc.
  • Have experience working with Adobe design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, etc.)
  • Are comfortable prioritizing, starting, and managing projects independently
  • Are comfortable working on new, changing, and fast-paced projects
