In the past 5 years, we’ve had the privilege of bringing in some of the brightest, most talented college students from around the country to spend time with our teams. Our 12 week intern program was designed so that interns can grow their skill set, thrive in the Mailchimp community, and do meaningful work. They also have a lot of fun along the way!

Our Spring internship program has some flexibility in regards to school schedules; interns are expected to be here for the full of week of onboarding, January 7, 2019 - January 11, 2019. For students seeking a part-time schedule, the work schedule is set for full days on MWF.
Mailchimp’s Support Analytics team manages all the data that comes from our support desk software and other technology used in the department. We analyze data to make high-level decisions about hiring, resource allocation, training, and overall customer experience.
We focus on making support data more available to stakeholders in Support and other departments across the company. From metrics to forecasting, we specialize in producing digestible reports to help answer questions about data in Support.
We’re looking for an inquisitive and self-motivated intern with an interest in text analysis to work with Data Analysts and Product Analysts in Support to help identify themes in text data to better understand the Mailchimp user base. In this internship, you will work on a wide range of data projects that will be used for determining trends and assessing overall queue health with an emphasis on text analysis.
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- Resourceful and able to identify needs from internal stakeholders
- Familiar with SQL and proficient in transforming / wrangling data
- Experienced with NLP libraries in Python or R
- Bonus points for
- Experience with Google BigQuery
- Knowledge of topic modeling
