Job Description

We are seeking an experienced artist who loves to work in both 3D and 2D mediums to create high-fidelity production-grade art assets in a fast-paced environment. You must have 3+ years of experience working in a creative studio creating everything from 2d art assets to 3d models and textures for experiences, games, or other applications that run on all kinds of devices. This position requires someone who can move from Photoshop to Maya with ease and enjoys digital painting and character animating as much as working on a photo-real product or environment render.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D/3D assets, models, and scenes for use in a variety of mediums and experiences

  • Craft engaging 2D/3D animations

  • Create visually stimulating content in engaging user interfaces

  • Work closely with UI designers and creative developers to implement and iterate quickly

  • Create assets and scenes that run well both on high end gaming rigs as well as mobile and integrated graphics

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with Maya, 3ds Max, Blender or other equivalent 3D software

  • 3+ years experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects

  • Excellent drawing and illustration skills

  • Knowledge of 2D texture creation pipeline using Photoshop & Substance Painter

  • Substance Designer and Zbrush is a plus

  • Ability to create low-to-mid-poly game-ready assets and textures optimized for realtime rendering (texture atlases, baked lighting + ambient occlusion, low draw call count etc)

  • Experience with character design and basic animation is a plus

  • In-depth understanding of traditional 3D rendering workflow

  • Experience working with Keyshot to create product renders

  • Experience with Unity/Unreal is a plus

  • Proficient with PBR pipeline

  • Working knowledge of Three.js/A-Frame or other webGL libraries a plus 

Education:

  • BA/BS in a related subject, or related work experience
