Job Description

Magic Leap is opening itself to the Israeli tech eco-system and is looking to attract the best content creators, app developers, startups, talent and others to work with us and build tomorrow’s world, on our platform.

We’re looking for a community manager to initiate, establish and maintain connections within the different stakeholders in the eco-system, and build the #1 community of Spatial Computing in Israel under the Magic Leap’s umbrella. In this position you will be exposed and influence, on a daily basis,  a great diversity of talented professionals and visionaries who are looking to explore this new, exciting field and invest their energy into it. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain connections with different meetup groups’ managers and Facebook community managers to attract them use Magic Leap’s facilities for their activities
  • Initiate topics for professional sessions (tech and biz) related to the Spatial Computing and facilitate such sessions to position Magic Leap as a thought leader in the field
  • Run the day-to-day operations (time allocations, invites, catering vis-a-vis budget constraints) of the eco-system’s meetup space and startups labs
  • Execute the marketing plan around the activities in the Space and labs
  • Run demos of Magic Leap product to eco-system’s stakeholders
  • Support Magic Leap’s internal needs of the space
  • Run demos of Magic Leap in an engaging manner

Qualifications

  • Operations experience in a startup environment
  • Experience in social media marketing, PR and messaging
  • Knowledge of the Israeli startups eco-system. Big advantage: personal connections in the eco-system
  • People oriented person
  • Self-starter
  • Understands, cares and executes to the level of small details

Education

  • B.A. / B.Sc. in business oriented topic, preferably a combination of finance and marketing.
