Job Description

Magic Leap is redefining the way that people interact with technology through Spatial Computing. We are seeking a Content Strategist with a sense of adventure and a drive to explore a new medium beyond screens. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content using both copywriting and multimedia. You will be expected to work closely with product management, product designers, researchers and other partners to tell Magic Leap stories and meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital content creation, management and optimization across Magic Leap’s web properties
  • Deeply understand the brand and story of Magic Leap and then translate the brand through copy and other content creation across properties in new and original ways
  • A thorough understanding of the differences between AR, VR, MR, and Spatial Computing, while being able to navigate and simplify terminology through compelling content
  • Work closely with UX researchers, product managers and designers to develop strategies to increase engagement, drive conversion and make each experience magical
  • Develop and maintain web editorial calendar
  • Optimize SEO across web properties and maintaining best practices within our Content Management System
  • Review and analyze web content performance, regular communication of these findings, and preparing action plans to improve

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years creating and managing business and marketing content for web platforms
  • Strong background in content creation including, but not limited to, video, rich media, articles, and white papers
  • A strong portfolio of work showcasing exceptional writing and editing skills that adheres to brand guidelines and voice
  • Experience working with complex information architectures and digital ecosystems
  • Experience with both project and digital asset management
  • Interest in technology and curiosity around the future of computing and experience platforms
  • Team player capable of working well with others and leveraging other people’s skills and strengths to deliver a stellar product

Education

  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
