Job Description

Magic Leap is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager that is highly creative and action-oriented to join the Magic Leap Education Team, which aims to build partnerships with educational institutions and help them usher their communities into the world of spatial computing. The ideal candidate will develop, refine and evolve our advertising and branding approach to this sector and will lead interactive marketing activations in line with this approach. Additionally, this individual should be ready to work in a fast paced, startup environment. This Marketing Manager is charged with developing and driving the Magic Leap Education team’s communications, messaging and experiential events strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and measure the effectiveness of Magic Leap Education marketing strategies.
  • Draft communications materials and build branding assets suitable for customers in the Education sector.
  • Drives logistical coordination and implementation of experiential events (e.g., pop-ups, hackathons and other on-campus activations)
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with influencers in the education space
  • Work with leaders on ML Education Team to evolve and ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
  • Research, understand, measure, and leverage social media (as well as other forms of media) to achieve overall objectives and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Capable to build, execute and sustain new programs from day 0
  • Superior creative and design skills to produce inspirational content
  • Research, understand, measure, and leverage social media (as well as other forms of media) to achieve overall objectives and goals.
  • Highly attentive to detail and organized
  • Experience with project management for marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrates winning, motivated attitude.
  • Strong ability to listen, analyze and cater to the ‘voice of the customer’
  • Multimedia proficiency (i.e., digital, social, traditional)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience

*Previous experience in the Education sector is preferred. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
