Embedded Software Engineer, Triage/ Internal Support

Magic Leap is looking for an embedded software engineer to join our team and help provide support to our internal customers. These customers include the factory line, our CV research teams, our data-collection teams, and more. This engineer would work with our experienced team to triage incoming support requests, help provide root cause analysis, and deploy solutions and training as needed for these other teams. This engineer would likely be familiar with Python and C/C++, and motivated to develop tooling to automate and simplify these tasks.
Design, author, and maintain embedded software, often in C/C++ language
Participate in team code review process and meetings
Review and triage incoming support tickets, including log analysis
Help develop and deploy tooling for system debugging and triage
Work with colleagues to determine and implement fixes for discovered/identified problems
Assist the company in debugging complex issues on the ARM platform
Travel to USA and international factory sites occasionally required
Ability to work well with others to diagnose or debug problems
Experience with a factory line or shipping product is helpful, but not required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a Related Field (Master’s Preferred)
