Lead Software Engineer, Performance Analysis and Validation

Seeking candidates with extensive experience in embedded software on Linux or Android. Engineer that will lead performance, reliability and power validation activity and be responsible for KPIs analysis, design and software tests development and setup to keep under control performance, reliability and power targets. Candidate must be able demonstrate extraordinary skills in attention to test development, tracking and escalation: understanding complex software systems, design corresponding non-functional testing, frameworks, script and maintain tests suites, reports results. Seeking strong communication skills and the ability to work in an environment with interdisciplinary teams.
Experience in the domains below are a must
Experience in detection and initial analysis of Performance, Reliability, and Power issues
Experience as a Quality Lead and automated validation with hands-on experience in the development and design testing coverage taking into account product components and layers
Experience in leading teams
Using Telemetry and Catapult for tests implementation and reporting
Excellent scripting using Python and shell
Excellent understanding of all test fundamentals and the associated use of test management and defect tracking tools
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of embedded devices
Experience in various technologies behind automated testing
Understanding of non-functional testing and post-data processing for best, worst and typical cases
Experience in testing graphics for frame rate, latency, deviations
Using common testing tools like AnTuTu, 3D Mark and results analysis
Experience in below areas are a plus
Development experience for Linux OS or Android; middleware, kernel, and device drivers
Experience in programming on C++ or C# on Windows
Good troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills including effective presentation with a dynamic and “can do” attitude
Master or degree in Computer Science
