Magic Eden is the #1 cross chain NFT platform spanning Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon. While some team members maintain a cross chain focus, it is critical we maintain subject matter expertise on each chain. For each chain, we will identify a Business Lead who will be responsible for helping us stay close to respective ecosystems and play a key role in shaping product strategy. Solana is close to our hearts given we are a Solana-born platform. We are looking for someone who will help position us as the most innovative, supportive team building on Solana.

Primary collaboration hours will be during Pacific Time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own Solana business performance metrics including overall volume growth, revenue, and active traders across primaries and secondaries activities 
  • Develop thoughtful, innovative, long term product strategies rooted in deep market insights to grow revenue and/or users. Create competitive differentiation on Magic Eden.
  • Offer expertise as an active trader who is always on top of ecosystem news & trends; must be an active user on Magic Eden and analogous platforms
  • Support GTM campaigns, providing ecosystem perspective to make sure all launches are positioned well, explained clearly, and received well by the community
  • Help broker win-win partnerships between the Solana ecosystem and internal teams across BD, VIP, and marketing as a connector to the Solana ecosystem
  • Be accountable to the quality of the Solana marketplace product by constantly testing, escalating bugs, and working with product teams to ensure marketplace is best-in-class
  • Be an unflinching source of truth representing what the ecosystem wants from Magic Eden and ways we can continuously improve across product and brand

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships/commercial strategy roles in high growth technology startup environments
  • Be a self-starter - ability to find ways to drive real business impact and product differentiation for our Solana marketplace
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate - work seamlessly with stakeholders across product, BD, marketing, and engineering to shape the Solana marketplace strategy
  • Deep market knowledge - offer deep understanding of NFT traders, market trends, NFT project trends on Solana
  • Strong network - you are deeply plugged into the community of Solana creators, project founders, and influencers
  • Deep user expertise - be an active user of Magic Eden and other Solana dApps to offer clear perspective for how our marketplace can continuously improve / innovate
  • Team player mindset - treat everyone with respect and provide input where necessary

The compensation for this position will vary based on geography and other factors (including years and depth of experience and expertise, and other business considerations). The base salary range for this role if hired in the United States is $160,000 - $180,000. Additionally, this full-time role is eligible to receive benefits, as well as participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer package will be at the company’s sole discretion.
