Want to help ground-breaking net zero-focussed organisations tell their stories?
Our clients’ ground-breaking technologies are changing the world. From advanced nuclear, to carbon capture and storage, to the new hydrogen economy, their innovations are shaping the future and changing people's lives for the better. We’re proud to help tell our clients’ stories and influence the policy and political decisions that are shaping the future of the UK and global economies.
We are looking for a leader to join our growing Net-Zero Transition Practice, someone who wants to add value to day-to-day account work, but also in terms of line management, business strategy, and new business growth. So, we’re recruiting for an experienced Director or Associate Director with strong public affairs and public relations experience, likely with a strong track record of consultancy or agency work, and/or direct experience in the energy sector.
You’ll have an in-depth interest in and understanding of political developments across the UK, including personalities, in-party debates and discussions, and how to use this knowledge to client's advantage. You’ll also have strong analytical skills and an ability to simplify complex policy and technical challenges into compelling and creative communications programmes.
We are looking for someone who can lead new business initiatives and drive accounts forward with a motivation to succeed and to help us manage our growing business and help us take it to the next level. You’ll be passionate about leading and developing our people, sharing knowledge and expertise to build skillsets, experience and drive positive behaviours. You will have demonstrable financial understanding of project and client management and be keen to take responsibility for delivering in the best interests of our clients and Madano.
In return, we can offer the opportunity to work in a company that takes its values seriously, having committed to working with net-zero technology providers many years ago and committed to the low-carbon economies of the future. You will be able to work with some of the most exciting companies in the UK, from nuclear fusion developers to low-emission aircraft developers.
