Madano Creative delivers dynamic, award-winning designs for creative campaigns and complex challenges.
Led by Arian Oldroyd, our multi-disciplinary design team employs intelligence, passion and commitment to craft highly visual content and creative solutions. Our visual thinking and capabilities bring client strategies to life, enhancing propositions and brand equity through a compelling creative experience.
The role – Senior Designer
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive multi-disciplined Senior Designer who can work independently with rigor and precision. The ideal candidate will have experience in animation and motion graphics with a strong understanding of After Effects, Premiere, alongside the full Adobe suite of programs. Versatility is key, as well as an eagerness to dive into the details while maintaining a high level of quality control. This role requires consistency in delivering work while also being creative and pushing the boundaries of design. A strong foundation in design fundamentals, including typography and conceptual thinking, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in driving the creative direction of campaigns, working closely with the Creative Director.
- Understand and apply principles of typography, layout, animation, quality control, planning, and design processes.
- Be a key team member, contributing to creative meetings, sharing ideas, and producing attractive and effective designs for all media.
- Manage project briefs, ensuring accurate establishment of the brief, providing time and cost estimates, and meeting deadlines.
- Develop design concepts, present treatment options, and proof and produce/amend final designs.
Fundamentals:
- Possess a natural creative flair and strong visual sense.
- Ability to create original design concepts that are in scope and delivered on time.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain a flexible and practical approach to adapt to changing briefs and broader landscapes.
- Maintain a positive outlook and commitment to consistent quality in every aspect of the role.
- Develop robust initial concepts using a range of applications, taking them through to successful design development.
- Deliver high-quality creative/design work as part of the creative team.
- Take responsibility for creative challenges and be self-sufficient.
- Create design files that can easily be turned into production files.
- Work closely with account management and production teams to implement amends and feedback.
- Help create presentations for new business and existing clients.
