About the team and role:

In the Algo team, we are combining deep learning and classical methods to create solutions for optometry-based apps. Our products must be easy to use, fast, and very accurate. The Algo team works on projects from the POC (Proof of Concept) level to production.

What You Will Do:

Research and develop Computer Vision and Deep Learning based algorithms to be integrated into existing and new products
Lead solutions from conceptualization to implementation, overseeing the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, data engineers, software developers, QA and product specialists
Understand the existing solutions and the optics behind them
Research latest advancements in deep learning, AI architectures and more, and apply them to enhance algorithm capabilities.

What You Will Need:

5+ years of experience with computer vision and deep learning algorithms
BSc in Computer Science / EE or equivalent
Good programming skills in Python
Hands-on approach - being able to take a feature from research to production
Experience with open-source ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Super responsible, independent and taking ownership of issues from end to end
Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

MSc in Computer Science / EE or equivalent
Knowledge of optics
Experience with C++ development

Experienced in implementing complex data structures like trees, graphs, and hash tables.
Proficient in algorithm design and analysis, including dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, and divide-and-conquer strategies.

Expert

Deep understanding of Python's internals and memory management.
Able to design and implement complex systems and algorithms in Python.
Experienced in using Python for machine learning, data science, or other specialized fields.
Proficient in writing highly efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Regularly contributes to open-source Python projects or develops custom libraries.
