On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…

Contribute to overall architectural and system-level tester design
Perform schematic design and PCB layout (Altium, Eagle etc)
Support Electrical validation of system parameters for various support needs.
Design interfaces to enable PCB board level validation and execute system validation to verify design parameters through robust testing.
Define test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes including design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and test software
Feed in design recommendations and improvements based on test findings.
Drive test requirements, specifications and limits with the hardware development team
Work concurrently with the design engineers to provide design for testability (DFT) feedback throughout the design process
Investigate and introduce new test technology and methodology to enhance efficiency

Desired Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of experience in design/testing/manufacturing of electronic devices.
Experience with system level design including circuit design, system bring-up, and integration and debugging
Experience with low-power and high power circuit design.
Experience developing robust designs for ESD/EMI immunities and RF de-sensitization
Able to define objectives and outcomes of various manufacturing tests at PCBA, open chassis and full system test
Experience with reviewing hardware designs to define test coverage to ensure products are built free of manufacturing defects. Deep understanding of DFT and DFM methods.
Knowledge of Industrial and Serial protocols.

Bonus Skills:

Firmware functional and interface knowledge.
Experience working with contract manufacturers.

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $120k - $180k USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
