Our Sales Engineers work very closely with our outside sales organization and will often be the first interaction customers have with our technology team. Making strong, positive first impressions and providing insight and consultative guidance are paramount duties that only begin to describe the variety of skills applicable to the position. This is a challenging, entrepreneurial role where your soft skills and technical skills will both be critical to your success. Required Experience and Skills
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years as a Sales Engineer
- Outstanding listening skills
- Experience delivering technical presentations & product demonstrations
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
- Ability to communicate business impact & value
- General knowledge of machine learning concepts & algorithms
- Comfort working with both Linux and Windows Server
- Knowledge of Apache Solr is a major plus
