The role:

  • Welcome guests, direct the sign-in process, resolve general inquiries, and schedule test drives
  • Build relationships and rapport with all Lucid employees and visitors 
  • Customer Assessment: Ask questions to understand budget, preferences, timeline
  • Listen to customer needs to recommend suitable vehicles and collects required customer information
  • Refer high-potential leads to Sales Specialists
  • Ensure all guests are directed to the most appropriate point of contact
  • Develop deep knowledge of Lucid brand, vehicles, and services
  • Stimulate customer consideration, explaining features, specifications, pricing of all models
  • Provide backend (i.e., non-customer-facing) operational support
  • Support Market Leader in execution of Retail Ops. playbook (i.e. opening / closing checklist)
  • Ensure test drive and showcase vehicle readiness (cleaning, charging)
  • Assist in the employee store. Selling merchandise and supporting with inventory efforts 
  • Be knowledgeable about our product and company, assisting with sales activities as needed.  
  • Working with multiple teams to ensure an excellent guest experience 
  • Exceed standards for personal appearance and grooming at all times 
  • Facilitate lobby safety, cleanliness, and security
  • Competitive landscape: Take initiative to understand competitor models, pricing, and packages in order to educate customer on why Lucid
  • Conduct test drives and articulate desired selling points ensuring an exceptional experience while driving Lucid vehicles.
  • Deliver an exceptional and memorable client experience that you would personally want to have
  • Assist with daily operations as needed
  • Clear Communication: Use exceptional oral and written communication skills to deliver clear and relevant information.
  • Active Listening: Employ active listening techniques to provide solutions that are genuinely helpful to customers.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned 

You bring:

  • Experience in customer facing industry (food service, retail, hospitality etc.)

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a front desk role with consistent track record of strong overall performance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. High school or GED required.
  • Prior experience with CRM tool such as Salesforce highly preferred
  • Authorized to work in the USA (visas sponsorship not available)
  • Where permitted by law, successful completion of a drug test and background check including, but not limited to, criminal records are a condition of employment for Lucid sales centers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs 
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays in a retail environment
  • Curiosity and passion about electric vehicles and the premium vehicle market and competitive landscape
  • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing active listening, clear verbal articulation, and proficient written communication, ensuring effective and concise conveyance of information.
  • Strong commitment to continuous personal and technical learning, with a track record of quickly acquiring new skills and knowledge and adaptability.
  • Keen understanding of automotive market dynamics, financial principles, and industry trends, enabling informed decision making for our customers.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, achieving objectives with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
  • Exceptional time management skills and a highly organized approach to tasks and responsibilities, ensuring prioritization and multitasking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with peers and customers.
  • Passionate about electric vehicles and the premium vehicle market.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate customer test-drives.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of a secondary language is a plus.
  • Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and perform tasks like twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DMV Salesperson License.
  • Retail automotive experience highly desired
Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
