Responsibilities:
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices using SAP
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers both Internally and Externally to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing with appropriate teams.
- Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability within SAP and SFDC {DMS Systems}
- Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
- Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
- Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the Management.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
- Tracking the company’s current inventory
- Analyzing available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other resources
- Recommending changes to the way the company handles inventory.
- Anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions.
- Managing the storage of inventory and materials
- Maintaining enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking.
- Collaborating with operations, production, and other supply chain department team members
Requirements:
- Experience in Automotive, retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as SAP and Salesforce.
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of the supply chain process
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Technical knowledge and understanding of integrated software systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, customers, and other supply chain team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on numbers for long periods.
- Sound judgment using available data.
- Ability to count inventory and sometimes move heavy objects while monitoring and managing the current inventory
