We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Engagement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing connections with key insurers in local markets in Germany, the Netherlands and further countries in the EEA, coordinating the interface between these markets and Lucid subject matter experts.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key insurers in the local markets of Germany, the Netherlands, and further EEA States.
- Coordinate meetings and discussions to familiarize carriers with Lucid's vehicles, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our products and their unique features.
- Identify and gather vehicle data required for preparing and completing submissions into the local markets.
- Identify and populate key databases with accurate and up-to-date vehicle information, enabling insurers to list and quote Lucid vehicles.
- Assimilate data needs and ensure timely submission into the insurance eco-system and relevant databases.
- Determine the necessity for vehicle type classifications in each local market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Provide regular weekly updates to senior management and local teams, keeping them informed of progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Identify any obstacles or challenges that may arise during the engagement process and effectively communicate them to the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in insurance engagement, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Positive and energetic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data accurately.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple meetings and discussions effectively.
- Familiarity with insurance databases and systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English is required, additional language skills e.g. Dutch or German are a plus.
- Passion for the customer experience, and an understanding of how your contributions directly impact that experience.
