We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Electronics focusing on Traction Inverters. The candidate will work with multi-disciplinary teams to plan and execute the design, development, and testing plans of the traction inverter. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The role:
Design, simulation, and development of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) circuits aboard the traction inverter
Define HV and LV interface, power requirements, and architecture, etc.
Responsible for prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation of Traction inverter circuit components
Contribute to powertrain and vehicle-level integrations of low and high voltage circuits from prototype to production
Responsible for design review, test plan drafting, and DV/PV validation results review
Be part of a team to develop advanced and safety-critical electronic product
Qualifications:
Solid background in power electronics components and circuits.
Good understanding of analog and digital electronics circuits.
Debugging/validation experience in PCBA and system level
Hands-on experience in embedded system development and troubleshooting
Familiar with various equipment (Oscilloscope, probe, power analyzer, etc.)
Well versed in power conversion topologies for DC/AC and AC/DC converters
Preferred:
Previous working experience on automotive power electronics hardware
Product development experience on power electronics products
Education:
MS plus 3 years or above in the areas of electrical engineering
