LoveToKnow is seeking a growth-oriented Senior Product Manager to take our WordFinder word game solver website to the next level. This role will lead data-informed product decisions working cross-functionally with engineers, UX designers, marketing, SEO and content professionals, using their knowledge of online media/content to provide an outstanding customer experience.

At this moment we’re only able to accept people holding EU citizenship or EU Blue Card for Spain as we do NOT provide visa sponsorships. If you’re not in Barcelona at the moment, your position will be remote at your location up until 2-3 months after signing the contract.

In this role, you will:

  • P&L responsibility for the WordFinder Web business.

  • Research and understand user needs and market gaps.

  • Identify and develop new product features and engaging experiences for our users.

  • Determine metrics to evaluate the success of new ideas and prioritize ways to make continual improvements.

  • Work cross-functionally (with engineers, UX designers, marketing, etc) to launch your features.

  • Balance strategic projects while maintaining product momentum and launch schedules.

  • Partner with content leaders to develop engaging content to drive acquisition and add value for users. 

  • Collaborate with the Revenue Team to incorporate meaningful advertising experiences that balance user experience and revenue generation.

  • Monitor key success metrics including return visits, engagement, organic traffic.

  • Lead the evolution of the WordFinder brand.

What you will need to be successful:

  • A history of entrepreneurship and/or building great products is a must.

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital product leadership roles with consumer-oriented (B2C) web products.

  • Interest in word games, games in general, and also linguistics.

  • Familiarity with market research, consumer behavior, and marketing techniques.

  • Experience building community with email, social and other means.

  • Experience with advertising-based revenue.

  • Deep knowledge of SEO and web customer acquisition strategies.

  • Facilitate global (cross timezone) brainstorming and collaborative design sessions.

  • Great communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Background in products geared towards today's generation of gamers.

  • Highly organized, strong follow-up, self-starter, and highly motivated.

  • Resourceful and creative problem solver.

  • Highly intelligent, with strong academic credentials or experience.

  • Business and online marketing background.
