You'll contribute to platform bring-ups and will help implement services shared by teams at Loon working on the embedded platforms.
Implement new board bring-ups with Chrome OS (development boards and custom in-house boards)
Resolve regression triage and be supported by hardware-in-the-loop automated testing
Implement security and privacy policies (firewall, auditability, authentication, access control)
Contribute to platform services in C++
Experience coding in C
Experience with Linux board bring-ups and triage (device drivers, kernel maintenance, boot strategies). Experience with Unix/Linux internals
Experience with debugging
Experience with IPv4/IPv6 networking (routing, nftables, ip xfrm, hardware offload)
Experience with Raspberry Pi hardware
Experience working with boot loaders (u-boot)
Demonstrated ability and interest to work at the user/kernel boundary or kernel/hardware boundary
