What to expect in the role

  • Effectively map existing pain points to LogDNA’s solutions and value
  • Execute technical discovery and help qualify customer goals in order to relay solutions that resonate with specific customer use cases
  • Collaborate with Sales team throughout customer experience, providing technical expertise to help customers realize value of leveraging LogDNA
  • Drive successful demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs) by understanding customer pain points, goals, success criteria, and aligning with a technical plan for success 
  • Impact product roadmap by identifying customer needs and feedback, advocating on their behalf with Engineering and Product teams
  • Represent LogDNA company and culture as you present, demo and speak at industry conferences, shows and other events
  • Evangelize product features, use cases and ecosystem impact to a wide range of audiences, including Developers, Ops, Product leaders/owners, and more
  • Continuously drive improvements in product demo experience

To excel in this position, you must have:

  • A desire to identify problems and bring solutions
  • Strong technical proficiency and experience in mobile or web development, device platforms & architectures, high availability systems, or pipeline design 
  • 4+ years experience in a sales-centric role such as sales / solutions architect, solutions engineering or early stage engineering
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes environment and how logging fits into the developer ecosystem
  • Development experience in C/C++, Go, Java, Javacsript, Node, Python, or Ruby
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly when evangelizing your product value
  • Passion for collaborating cross-functionally to solve business and technical problems
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50% of the work month

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Experience processing loglines and/or experience using LogDNA
  • Understanding of the log management ecosystem and competitors
  • Specific product development or management experience
  • SQL development, data warehousing and data modeling experience
