About you:

You’re passionate and experienced in renewable energy, and want to play a part of pushing our society in the direction of long term sustainability.  You are a talented individual with Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience, who finds the idea of helping industry leaders maximize the value of their renewable assets, quite exciting. You are proactive, learn quickly, and take ownership of your responsibilities. You seek to immerse yourself in this position, learn as much as you can, and establish a career for yourself with our growing team. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage select Locus accounts
  • Forecast likely sales from accounts and update forecasts on a quarterly basis
  • Expand business with existing customers
  • Assist in roll-out of new products to customers
  • Ensure good customer communications, including providing feedback on the Locus platform and products
  • Create relevant proposals, presentations, and sales materials
  • Provide technical information, demos and explanations to potential/existing customers
  • Attend and participate in tradeshows and periodic sales meetings
  • Work closely with the Sales team help to execute sales plan
  • Work out of the San Francisco, CA office, with up to 30% travel (mostly regional) required


  • 2 - 4 years of work experience in account management and/or sales is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to make effective presentations to individual and group audiences. Capable of describing and reviewing the product in a clear and concise manner
  • Good judgment and ample discretion to resolve problems that may arise while performing the duties of the job
  • Ability to understand and explain technical specifications and details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within a small team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications 

It would be great if you have: 

  • Past experience in the solar industry
  • Previous experience with B2B technology sales
  • Experience with Salesforce
