YOUR ROLE 

At Localcoin, our creative assets are a top priority. As a Graphic Designer, you will bring your knowledge of different brands, products and media outlets and effectively create designs for our website, media assets and promotional material that will engage our customers and bring our brand to life. 

Reporting to our Senior Director of Marketing, you will work in close collaboration with cross functional teams to discover how to best showcase Localcoin while developing exceptional creatives to support all business channels. This position will be based out of Toronto, ON and will be remote work for the time being. 

YOUR IMPACT

  • Generate compelling static and dynamic creative assets for online campaigns including digital, social media, email and web 
  • Lead the creative development process from theme and conceptual development to asset creative for online and offline elements
  • Work collaboratively with our marketing team to explore and develop design strategiesCollaborate with the Web Developer to design graphics for company websites, landing pages, web forms to enhance the user experience for Localcoin customers
  • Design and maintain consistent brand presence for internal assets such as document and presentation templates, sales collateral and internal communications
  • Bring your subject matter expertise to support every department with design needs for proposals, presentations and other pursuit collateral by accomplishing the tasks as needed.
  • Drive performance of selected marketing KPIs such as ad click through rates and ad conversion rates by turning provided data into effective designs
  • Improve user interface based on advanced analytics available to you. (i.e. Our website and mobile application, ad creatives and email designs)
  • Be a brand ambassador for Localcoin to uphold the integrity of our Brand across all channels and projects 

THIS IS YOU

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working in highly regulated and/or multi-dimensional environments with ecommerce or fintech based brands 
  • Experience working in an agency/client focused environment
  • Passion and interest in learning about cryptocurrency
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Premier Pro) on PC/Mac
  • Strong experience in content production for Social Media, Email, Online Advertising, and Video
  • Highly organized and comfortable balancing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally with all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment where there are restrictions on creative within certain platforms
  • Passionate about graphic design and do the impossible to stay up to date on new techniques.
  • A professional who craves for responsibility and thrives in a rapidly evolving environment

THIS IS NICE

  • Basic understanding of UX/UI for website design enhancements
  • Knowledge and interest in Photography is a plus
  • Sketch/Illustration skills for storyboarding video concepts/dynamic online ads a plus
