About This Job

LiveRamp is seeking an experienced Payroll profession to join our team in downtown San Francisco.  We are growing and the successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Processes semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly, full time and part time employees ensuring the accuracy of the data
  • Process and review all payroll related interfaces
  • Create pay data batches, verify and reconcile wages and hours from our HRIS system (Workday)
  • Process new hires, leave of absences and terminations according to state laws
  • Calculate and process off-cycle checks
  • Produce audit reports, audit registers, accruals and special cases
  • Process stop payments, reversals and other changes as needed
  • Conduct research and analysis to assist with special requests and projects
  • Receive and respond timely to email, telephone and mail inquiries
  • Interpret payroll policies and procedures to employees
  • Process equity, imputed income, and similar transactions in the HR/Payroll system

 

Qualifications

You have a strong knowledge of payroll operations and LOVE to help people.  You are organized, thorough and approachable. You love to solve problems and think creatively about solutions.

 

Required

  • Solid knowledge of payroll fundamentals including payroll tax, reporting, balancing, US pay policies, garnishments and payroll best practice
  • Previous multi-state payroll processing experience with working knowledge of multi-state taxation
  • Superb time management skills
  • Previous experience working with ADP
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical skills and have the ability to detect inconsistencies in data
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Work reliably and efficiently under demanding deadlines
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters
  • Excellent listening skills and not afraid to ask questions for clarification and follow-up

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a BA or BS degree, or equivalent years of payroll work experience
  • APA Certification (CPP or FCP)
  • Forward thinking with the ability to propose improvements on inefficiencies
  • Workday experience
  • ADP experience
