Welcome to the Global Product and Tech: Cloud team at LivePerson! We are a team of more than 320 people located across more than 22 countries in (EMEA, APAC, NA)

We are looking for a smart individual who wants to do more than just manage, but also shape and innovate!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to (your tasks): 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute the cloud strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of cloud infrastructure.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Ensure best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost management are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kubernetes (GKE), HashiCorp Vault, and CI/CD pipelines into cloud workflows.
  • Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform and scripting languages.
  • Own the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy, ensuring effective incident management and on-call support structures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our cloud solutions cutting-edge.

Here are some of the things you'll bring (requirements):

  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (GCP is a plus), networking concepts, including VPC design, load balancing, and service mesh architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE is a plus), including cluster management, workload orchestration, RBAC, network policies, and security hardening.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to drive technical roadmaps and contribute to the overall cloud vision.

A strong sense of quality, personal responsibility, and a passion for development.
