Overview: 

We're seeking a talented Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join our Integration Hub (iHub) team at LivePerson, based in the CET time zone. As part of our diverse and dynamic team of 5 engineers across Germany and Poland, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Angular applications that drive real impact for our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to (your tasks):

  • Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy user-centric features.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality code.
  • Optimize web applications for speed and scalability, ensuring they are responsive and cross-browser compatible.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices, especially in collaboration with our customers
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive team culture that fosters learning and innovation.

Here are some of the things you'll bring (requirements):

  • At least 3 years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern Angular (15+, including state management libraries like NgRx or Redux)
  • Familiarity with the overall JavaScript ecosystem including tools like npm, Webpack, and Gulp.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles.
  • Ability to work with version control using Git.
  • Ability to write unit tests and work with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, etc.).
  • Strong, proactive communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment in a remote setting. 
  • Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty approximately every 6-8 weeks, in alignment with our "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks beyond Angular (React, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and containerization (Docker).
  • Experience with working in the Salesforce ecosystem.
