We are looking for a DIRECTOR OF RETAIL SALES who will help support our U.S and Canadian network of retailers, resellers and distributors. The ideal candidate must be entrepreneurial, driven and highly organized with considerable experience selling in, and through at key national retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Toys R’ Us, in addition to experience managing smaller specialty accounts, and growing a large, revenue generating team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS DIRECTOR OF RETAIL SALES
Own revenue plan and forecasts for the US/CA Consumer Retail
Manage relationships and strategy with key Licensor integrated retail teams
Identify growth and expansion opportunities within existing and new markets
Work with our Channel Marketing Team to develop marketing initiatives to support account growth while ensuring partners receive world class support
Manage and mentor a team of sales and marketing executives towards a common goal
Be an evangelist, energizing our channel partners on selling and marketing the littleBits brand and product suite.
THE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED AS DIRECTOR OF RETAIL SALES
7+ years in retail sales in the USA
Experience working with national consumer electronics, department store retailers, and distributors.
Experience managing a portfolio of products, and managing the lifecycle management of those products in retail from introduction to sunset.
An ability to forecast accurately and efficiently
A born sales person with “rainmaking” capabilities.
Netsuite or other CRM experience
Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
