The Role
The Associate Director, Creator Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team that executes influencer marketing campaigns at scale. This role blends operational leadership, client management, and strategic problem-solving to ensure seamless execution of influencer-driven initiatives.
As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for managing campaign execution workflows, ensuring high-quality influencer sourcing and onboarding, and optimizing processes for efficiency and impact. You’ll act as an internal advocate for the team, fostering collaboration across departments while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience.
This role requires a hands-on approach—balancing high-level leadership with a deep understanding of the day-to-day mechanics of campaign execution. You’ll provide mentorship to team members while also driving innovation in campaign execution strategies, ensuring best-in-class service for clients and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Mentor a High-Performing Team – Manage and develop a team of 6+ execution specialists, ensuring alignment with business goals and professional growth for team members.
- Oversee Campaign Execution – Ensure the team delivers influencer campaigns with precision, managing sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, and performance tracking.
- Client & Stakeholder Management – Serve as a key point of escalation for enterprise clients and internal teams, ensuring campaign needs are met with agility and expertise.
- Drive Operational Excellence – Establish and refine processes to improve efficiency, standardize best practices, and enhance overall campaign execution quality.
- Advocate for the Team – Represent the creator campaign execution function within the company, ensuring leadership understands challenges, successes, and areas for investment.
- Strategic Problem-Solving – Actively identify and implement improvements in campaign workflows, team structure, and execution methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Client Services, and Operations to refine campaign strategies and execution processes.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – Maintain a pulse on influencer marketing trends and evolving best practices to keep the team at the forefront of the industry.
Who You Are
- Experienced Leader – 7-8 years of experience in campaign execution, client services, or operations, with at least 3 years managing a team of 5+ people.
- Customer-Centric – Passionate about creating seamless client experiences and driving customer satisfaction.
- Balanced Strategist & Executor – Comfortable making high-level strategic decisions while also being hands-on in execution.
- Excellent Communicator & Advocate – Able to clearly articulate challenges, successes, and needs to both leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Energetic & Solution-Oriented – Thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing creativity and adaptability to problem-solving.
- Operationally-Minded Yet Agile – Brings a structured approach to workflows but understands when to be flexible for better outcomes.
- Influencer Marketing Enthusiast – Familiarity with the social media and influencer ecosystem is a plus but not required.
