We are looking for an outgoing and confident business development rep to drive new business growth at our thriving tech company. You will research, prospect and convert leads to pre-qualified opportunities with the support of marketing and sales operations. You will use your skills in understanding buyer journey and customer personas combined with your stellar communication and organizational skills to provide value to and win over prospects through the initial pre-sales phase. You will gain a thorough knowledge of our market landscape and use it deftly to build rapport with prospects and partners alike. You will use innovative social media tools and techniques and avid networking to develop new leads and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research, develop and pre-qualify leads to meet our strategic objectives
  2. Leverage marketing materials and MQLs to drive prospects through funnel
  3. Intelligently engage with prospects to offer technology solutions to their business problems
  4. Be both creative and metrics oriented to follow a lean “do-measure -learn” approach in order to maximize activity and results
  5. Find and nurture new partnerships within our market
  6. Consistently meet quotas in both qualified lead generation as well as in closing owned accounts

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of inside sales experience in enterprise technology
  • Confidence and experience engaging with C-suite/ Senior level business and technology people
  • Eager, positive attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Expert time management skills
  • Strong tele‐qualifying, prospecting skills, ability to reach prospects creatively, position services, identify decision makers and handle objections positively and professionally.
  • Must be proficient in CRM, Data sourcing, Social media tools and Google Docs
  • BONUS:  Knowledge of software development, software consulting and/or Big Data, AdTech, MarTech and online media platforms a very big plus
