This Sales Engineer role represents a unique opportunity to be a part of LightStep’s founding team in Europe. Based on our success in the US market and initial traction in the European market, we are establishing a core team in London to help grow our footprint in Europe. In terms of our approach to selling, we believe that the path to success for a customer begins in the sales process as they explore LightStep as a potential solution to the complex observability issues they face relative to the applications driving their business. As our first Sales Engineer in London, you will partner with our Account Executive to successfully do business with new customers while also helping to grow our team and culture in Europe. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer looking to make a large impact in a new market at a fast-growing company.

You have a background in monitoring, observability, or Application Performance Management (APM).
You are familiar with any of the following: microservices, distributed tracing, proxies / service meshes (Envoy, HAProxy, Linkerd), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers (Kubernetes, Docker).
You have built software applications in any of the following languages: Go, Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, or NodeJS.
