We're looking for an Associate Partner Development Manager, who will be responsible for developing new commercial partnerships that drive new merchants to Lightspeed. Each partner must have an individual Go-To-Market program that aligns the prospects’ goals and incentivizes them to bring retailers and restaurateurs to the Lightspeed platform. You will need to have a deep understanding of a potential partner’s ambitions, product and industry. 

This individual will be accountable for presenting the partnership plan to partner qualified leads , strategy and negotiation of commercials terms, successful and seamless onboarding experience for their partners,  and having a presence at large hospitality  industry trade shows when required. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Forge new partnerships to expand Lightspeed's network.
  • Reach out to potential partners and qualify potential leads
  • Meet performance quotas and provide regular pipeline reports.
  • Coordinate with Partner Trainers, Growth Managers, and Marketing teams smoothly.
  • Build strong internal relationships and advocate for partners within Lightspeed.
  • Drive measurable ROI and evaluate partnership impacts for market growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and attend relevant events.
  • Become a POS expert to support retail and restaurant operations with Lightspeed products.
  • Adapt to business needs and perform other assigned tasks.

 What you need to bring: 

  • 1-2 years of sales/outbound experience, preferably in software sales.
  • Ability to forecast sales and take proactive action.
  • Strong initiative and B2B relationship-building skills.
  • Capability to develop growth strategies effectively.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business requirements.

Even Better if you have: 

  • SaaS sales experience
  • Expert level knowledge of Salesforce, Mac OS, G Suite, Slack and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the Hospitality or Retail industry
  • Fluency in other languages
