We’re looking for a Full Cycle Account Executive to join our Retail Sales team in Melbourne. This is a Full Cycle Inbound role and you will be responsible for generating a pipeline through qualifying, booking meetings and owning the sales processing from initial inbound outreach to demo and close.

You’ll be part of an evolving and disruptive company that is changing the way that business owners and their customers engage with each other in Retail.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive a full-cycle sales conversation with our retailers, which includes:
    • Qualifying inbound ICP leads and ensuring they are the best fit for Lightspeed’s target market
    • Have discovery conversations with potential prospects in order to properly position Lightspeed as their solution
    • Lead one-on-one, in-depth screen-sharing presentations/demos as required
    • Close deals to allow you to achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Manage a pipeline of multiple sales cycles from initial conversations to activation utilising Salesforce, forecasting sales pipeline to leadership, ensuring monthly KPI’s are met 
  • Work within a team environment to collaboratively grow the business
  • Work with management on pricing negotiations
  • Maintain up-to-date records within Lightspeed’s CRM solution
  • Process sales quotes and orders in an accurate manner
  • Provide valuable market feedback to management

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a intermediate candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Inbound B2B sales experience engaging with SMBs (preferably within retail, and within a SaaS setting)
  • You have experience forecasting a pipeline and daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s
  • You have a track record of top performance in your previous role
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives
  • Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance
