We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Strategic Field Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team for the Benelux area. As the Strategic Field Implementation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) POS system for our highest value clients in the Benelux while fostering strong client relationships. This role requires advanced expertise in POS technology and a proven track record of successful implementations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and high-value clients to ensure the successful deployment of our solutions, providing a white-glove, high-touch human experience.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • POS Solution Implementation:

    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of POS solutions for our highest-value customers, ensuring a personalized approach.
    • Ensure the configuration and customization of POS systems meet the unique requirements of each high-value client.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and goals.

  • Project Management

    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for POS implementations, incorporating white-glove service principles.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including Sales, Underwriting, Billing, and Support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of implementation projects.
    • Provide white-glove service by anticipating client needs, addressing concerns proactively, and ensuring a seamless experience.

Client Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the dedicated point of contact for our highest value clients during the implementation phase, fostering a high human touch experience.

    • Conduct regular check-ins, building rapport and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Possess advanced knowledge of POS technology and its applications.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to address client-specific configurations, customizations, and integrations.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Installation of Hardware:

    • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the hardware installation process. 

Training and Documentation:

    • Conduct comprehensive, personalized training sessions for clients, tailoring the approach for their unique needs.
    • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for clients and internal teams.
    • Seek continuous improvement by gathering client feedback and adapting implementation processes accordingly.

Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the quality and accuracy of POS system implementations.
    • Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee the functionality and reliability of the implemented solutions.

Project Documentation:

    • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, ect.);
  • Advanced knowledge of POS technology and solutions
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and self-educated; you will manage your own schedule;
  • Excellent communication (EN/FR) and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on building relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on customer service;
  • Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends;  
  • Ability to travel to customer’s sites within the Benelux area, occasionally to other sites in EMEA
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (bonus points if you also speak French!)

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Proven experience as a Field Implementation Consultant in the POS technology industry
  • Passion for technology
  • Self starter that seeks to identify and improve processes
  • Experience with high GTV clients in the hospitality industry
