Sr. Manager, Adaptive Planning

Lightspeed is seeking an experienced Adaptive Planning and ERP systems manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. What you’ll be responsible for

  • The Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant is accountable for designing and developing finance planning solutions based upon the Adaptive Planning platform.
  • Develops and maintains the Adaptive Planning solutions suite including standard, cubed and modeled sheets, dimensions, master formulas, shared formulas, data integration, reporting and data input.
  • Integrate data from other financial systems like NetSuite and Workday HCM. As well as work on integration of data for other models within Adaptive Planning.
  • Automate and optimize efficient and accurate data integration within Adaptive models allowing for sustainable and scalable reporting
  • Solution Design- Acts as functional architect in developing solution designs
  • Assures design process is consistent with the Lightspeed’s defined methodology and standard practices
  • Designs and authors detailed specifications for development of Adaptive Modeling Development of Advanced Solutions
  • Works directly with Finance leadership to ensure alignment of delivered components
  • Provides guidance, leadership and mentoring to two Financial systems analysts other developing solution objects and maintaining auditable data flows between multiple systems
  • Provide support on complex projects and ad hoc analysis. Contribute to the design of financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities for projects and reporting requirements. Apply models and interpret results 
  • Support yearly budgeting and quarterly reforcasting work directly related to an area of responsibility and ensure they align with consolidated work and commitments
  • Build relationships with other departments and help create system solutions to accurately record new business transactions for both operational and consolidated results
  • Produce clear, well-structured documentation that supports reporting needs and audit processes

What you’ll be bringing to the team

  • Minimum of 3 years full life cycle Workday Adaptive Planning project experience in a consulting or direct implementation role
  • Experience with Adaptive in both development and administrative roles
  • Experience with NetSuite and Workday (Preferred)
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing all aspects of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions
  • Minimum BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related business field or professional equivalence 
  • Holds active Workday Certification (Financials or Adaptive preferred)
  • Advanced level hands-on knowledge of all Adaptive features and components including environment settings, modeling, security, workflow, dot notation logic, OfficeConnect, Planning and data integration
  • Proven skills as a team member on at least one full life cycle implementation
