We're looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to join our dynamic partnerships team. Reporting to our Head of Global Enterprise Partnerships, this role is responsible for developing and growing productive relationships with partners globally. This role is critical for developing and implementing strategy with executives for a broad partner set. Daily tasks involve motivating, training and working collaboratively with partners in order to drive revenue for Lightspeed. The ideal candidate will have experience selling technology-based solutions with partners, and will not be afraid of a fast-paced, high-energy environment. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating global category strategy
  • Developing and implementing new initiatives and programs across various partnership cohorts
  • Working with various cross-functional leaders across Lightspeed, including Marketing, Education and Enablement, Product, Finance and Support
  • Engaging with existing partners to bring new solutions to Lightspeed
  • Meeting partner objectives globally
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline reporting and forecasts from partners
  • Collaborating with partners virtually and in person, bringing experts across Lightspeed into meetings as needed
  • Leading one-on-one screen-sharing presentations as required
  • Partnering with other team members on regional and industry management
  • Handling other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

 

What you need to bring:

  • Intermediate level of high-revenue partnership or account management experience
  • Experience with managing revenue forecasts
  • High degree of initiative and self-direction; bias for action
  • B2B relationship building skills
  • Ability to develop comprehensive partner growth strategies
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, group presentation skills
  • Ability to train, motivate and foster relationships with partners
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive and fast-moving environment
  • Strong positive attitude and problem-solving mindset

 

Even better if you have:

  • Point of sale and eCom SaaS experience
  • Software sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
