We're hiring a Sr. Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition team! In this full-cycle role, you’ll manage recruiting from sourcing to offer negotiation, assessing candidates for technical skills and cultural fit with Lightmatter’s values. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Talent, engineering leaders, and HR to meet hiring goals, leverage data insights, stay current on industry trends, and support our employer branding efforts as we grow in the U.S. and Canada!
Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of the end-to-end recruiting processes for multiple roles across the company, from sourcing, conducting initial candidate assessments, preparing the candidate and negotiating offers. Full cycle recruitment.
- Evaluate candidates for technical skills and alignment with our company's values, mission, and goals.
- Develop and execute an existing talent acquisition strategy for hardware, software and G&A positions.
- Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process with proactive communication and engagement.
- Proactively identify, and engage top tech talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Evangelize candidates on Lightmatter's total compensation package and its competitive aspects.
- Work closely with the Head of Talent to meet hiring goals using a data-driven approach to help improve existing processes.
- Gain a deep understanding of Lightmatter's business, using the knowledge to champion Lightmatter's culture and mission when engaging with the company and all candidates.
- Work closely with engineering leaders, HRBPs to deeply understand hiring needs, provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to make informed hiring decisions.
- Contribute to enhancing our company's employer brand through various recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) documenting candidate interactions and communications
- Follow Talent Acquisition SLAs
- Offer support, insights and recommendations to grow our team in Canada
- Participate in network events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or similar role
- 4+ years of experience in Recruiting in the semiconductor industry
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
- Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), specifically Greenhouse
- Experience with new generative AI tools for recruiters
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek out and similar sourcing platform
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Informed about industry trends, talent pools, and competitor hiring practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Outstanding communication skills able to effectively engage the attention of passive candidates and leaders
- Balance relentless determination with sharp judgment and finesse; know when to push hard and when it's time to pivot or let go
- Master’s degree
- Ability to work with ambiguity, fast change, and hyper-growth environment
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
- Previous experience working as an HR coordinator or HRBP
