LightForce’s product management team is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented business analyst to join our team as a Product Performance Analytics Manager. As a key individual contributor, you will be responsible for enabling us to make better, faster decisions regarding product development and investment priorities.  You will collaborate on a wide array of product and business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Product Management, Software and Hardware Engineering, Product Marketing, Service, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations.  

Your unique analytical and communication skills will be essential to the delivery of key insights into the clinical and operational performance of LightForce’s products.  Your work will shape product development, quantify new opportunities, identify upcoming challenges, and ensure our products deliver optimal value to the business through their impact on practices and their patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the effective presentation of data to inform strategies for product performance investments and associated roadmaps 
  • Develop new approaches to measuring the impact of LightForce’s core clinical product offerings, including the creation and management of new KPIs that reflect the performance of our products for our users and the business  
  • Generate insightful reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and recommended actions
  • Collaborate with the relevant LightForce to influence and contribute to the data science and machine learning agenda and to enhance data collection, storage, and reporting capabilities, ensuring a robust analytical infrastructure
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the orthodontic space to inform strategic decision-making
  • Actively participate in product planning activities, offering data-driven recommendations for product improvements and innovations
  • Provide support to customers and internal Customer Success by analyzing product performance and addressing issues or concerns raised by users
  • Establish and execute effective approaches for internal and customer facing customer performance benchmarking & analytics

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical or quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and provide insights that have made a measurable impact

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets as well as statistical languages such as R, Python
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with industry standard analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc., is plus.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Healthcare industry experience
