About the Job

At Life360, we're on a mission to make family safety a compelling value proposition. With a proven track record in the US and a strong user base worldwide, we're establishing a UK-based team to play a pivotal role in our global business expansion.

We're searching for a data-savvy, detail-oriented Business Analyst with a wide-ranging skill set spanning marketing and business analysis for a popular mobile and web business used by people worldwide. In this high-impact role, you'll be the driving force behind partnering with our International team to use data-driven insights to fuel the growth and continuous development of our global marketplaces.

This position calls for an independent, analytical self-starter. You'll take a leading role in collaboration with key decision-makers by crafting and delivering tailored analyses. These insights will guide our approach to enhancing the customer experience, marketing our offerings, and measuring our outcomes. Being a sharp problem solver, comfortable with navigating uncertainty, and adept at analyzing data to draw meaningful conclusions are your keys to success in this role.

This role is based in London, offering a flexible hybrid model that combines remote work with in-person and office meetings. You'll report to the Head of Analytics, who's based in the US (PST), and work independently while maintaining a close connection with the GM of the International Team.

What You’ll Do

  • Marketing Analytics:  Team up with our marketing teams – Growth, CRM, and Product Marketing – to test and assess strategies aimed at reaching out to both brand-new and existing customers.
  • Business Analytics:  Partner with our finance and business teams to scrutinize and report on how our business is performing overall. This includes helping with business evaluations and assessing how our operations are going.
  • Business Development:  Work with the team to explore new opportunities to expand the business, especially when it comes to evaluating new countries to venture into and new businesses to get involved in. This means delving into research, both numbers-based and through customer interviews, to better our value proposition.
  • User and Product Analytics: Collaborate with our Product Management team to investigate the user experience and how people are using our features. The goal is to uncover new ways to grow our user base and make the business flourish.
  • Work with the wider Analytics crew to design experiments that'll test how well new ideas and plans work out.
  • Train our international team in using data analytics. We want to ramp up everyone's awareness and ability to work with data, across all teams.
  • Keep a deep understanding of what's driving the business, and be ready to chat with our top brass to put the numbers in context and give them support when it comes to understanding our reports.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of analytics experience, with a history of success in digital services, alongside Marketing, Business and Product teams
    • Experience in a B2C freemium subscription business is ideal.
  • Problem-Solving: We need someone who can define problems, come up with the right questions, and bring out the insights from the data.
  • The Right Attitude: We're after someone who's proactive and has a 'can-do' attitude with a growth mindset. You should be hungry and curious to get into the nitty-gritty and find ways to really make the business thrive.
  • SQL Skills: You should be able to work your way around SQL like a pro, digging into structured and unstructured data for in-depth analysis.
  • Reporting Tools: It would be great if you're familiar with tools like Tableau or similar ones. You'll use them to create and maintain reports and analyses, both regularly scheduled and when needed.
  • Stats Know-How: You should have a good grip on statistical concepts and experience with product experiments, including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and regression models.
  • Quick on Your Feet: Our environment is fast-paced, so you should thrive in it and be skilled at handling challenges and juggling competing priorities.
  • Working with Stakeholders: You should have a proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders to turn their business and product questions into analytics projects that hit the mark.
  • Education: A degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field is what we're after.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
