About the role

  • As the first CRM hire for Level, evaluate and onboard a new Email Service Provider (ESP)

  • Develop, own and execute email and push marketing strategies and communications in promotional, transactional, lifecycle, and triggered campaigns to drive growth and retention

  • Own the campaign development process from creation through deployment (content development, build, QA and send)

  • Own post-campaign analysis by measuring and establishing KPIs, describe trends through weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting of results, sharing key insights to stakeholders

  • Design and deploy a scalable framework for continuous A/B testing and iteration across our automations and campaigns

  • Act as lead ESP administrator responsible for the application, list hygiene, sender score, and program health

About you

  • 10+ years of lifecycle marketing expertise with proven hands-on experience driving growth and retention via CRM, email marketing and customer segmentation

  • Comprehensive knowledge of email marketing best practices, functionality, technological specifications and laws

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS and SQL

  • Understanding of database structure in relation to email

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Proven track record of scaling email systems and increasing revenue

  • Experience working for a high-growth startup

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization

  • No-task-too-small mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and get things done

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
