Senior Software Engineer - Growth
Le Tote is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team responsible for customer acquisition and revenue. This is a great opportunity for product-focused engineers who enjoy working iteratively with product managers and designers to support a rapidly growing company.

Conversion Rate Optimization. We are constantly delivering experiments in onboarding with our client-side experimentation platform, showing dynamically priced items and subscription plans with our server-side experimentation platform, and analyzing the data of our experiments in Looker, a data visualization tool sitting atop our Redshift data warehouse.
Maximizing Referrals. We increased referrals 100% in 3 months by redesigning our referral program experience end to end.
Delivering Consistent Customer Experiences. We’ve created 40+ components in our style guide which enable us to focus our time on creating rich, consistent and on-brand customer experiences while avoiding the issues that come from having 20 different submit buttons.
What we’re looking for:
5-7 years software engineering experience. We use Ruby/Rails and React/Redux at Le Tote. While we prefer candidates with experience in our stack, we highly value strong problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience with API design for multiple clients. We've been building our APIs for the past year using GraphQL to make it easy for any client (particularly web and iOS) to request and mutate data.
How we work:
Iteratively. We help product and design pair down our experiments to the minimum viable experiment needed to learn what we need to know before investing more heavily in a feature or project. We do weekly sprints, daily (if not more) deploys, and timely code reviews in order to ship quickly and minimize bugs.
Collaboratively. As software engineers, we help product and design understand what's possible, what's easy, what's difficult, and what opportunities we see from a technical and non-technical perspective. We also work closely with marketing and the executive team to make sure we're delivering a product that can meet our business goals.
Flexibly. While we strive to stick to a plan we think is best for the company, we do actively incorporate experiment learnings and business feedback into our sprints. Flexibility is a must have trait to be a successful teammate on the growth team. In return, we also have a flexible vacation policy, work from home policy, and schedule as needed.
