The Car Sales Director will manage the strategies and tactics to better sell cars, to C2B, online and with value added services. The candidate is expected to have an analytical mind-set, 360 degree point of view, problem solver, open minded skills that plays a critical role for success.
The Car Sales Director reports directly to our GM of Car Transactions and is based in Istanbul office.
- Develop or challenge sales vision to become the most seeked second hand platform in the Turkish market,
- Set up sales projections, targets and budgets by taking necessary actions to deliver targets,
- Be customer centric, understand and respond to customer needs, continuously improve NPS scores,
- Drive policies to meet with customers on a regular basis,
- Analyze sales performance and provide new strategies, tactics to improve overall performance,
- Design and improve sales operation processes in line with strategies by training and coaching your team to be an A-class team,
- Deliver culturally fit recruits, on time, in a fast moving company,
- Develop partnerships with partners to support sales with ancillary products or services,
- Follow up best practices, industry developments, tech & innovation,
- Lead sales team and work in tandem with diverse departments for better results as a team,
- Setup a simple, scalable sales process for each business line.
To get there, you’ll need:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, master degree in business administration is a plus,
- A minimum 10 years of experience as manager covering for B2B, B2C and online sales,
- Minimum 4 years of experience as sales or commercial director,
- Proven ability to drive sales funnel efficiently from top to bottom,
- Excellent leadership skills,
- Agility managing motivation of large teams composed of sales people, multitasking is a must,
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind and data-driven thinking, an affinity for numbers,
- Being a good problem solver, curious, innovative, good communicator and very good team player,
- Fluent English and Turkish skills, both written and spoken.
