The Role

The Product Marketing Manager is a critical role for LendingHome’s Property Marketplace, where sellers and buyers come together to transact properties. This role drives the product positioning, market and competitive analysis and creates content for campaigns with the goal of driving growth to the Property Marketplace.

Responsibilities

A Product Marketing Manager is a go to market expert and an internal champion whose buyer and product knowledge allow them to deliver exceptional: 

  • Positioning and Messaging: In conjunction with the Product Manager and Sales, Product Marketing outlines the product positioning which establishes the differentiated value proposition. This is further detailed in creative, compelling messaging which links each key differentiator to customer benefit.
  • Product Launch Strategy and Execution:  Launch strategy is the high-level planning that happens before a product goes to market. Product Marketing uses in-depth market research and competitive analysis of target markets and how to best introduce or re-introduce the product into each target market and with each customer stakeholder segment across all marketing channels.
  • Content Assets: In conjunction with campaign demand marketing, Product Marketing defines the content that convinces target customers to demand or pull product through the funnel through to close. Product Marketing defines the conversations to participate in that lead to sales.
  • Sales Support: Sales reps need great sales tools. For example, they often need good product training, a solid product presentation, and a compelling demonstration. Product Marketing works with sales to determine what sales tools they need and what points to emphasize.
