We’re LendingHome. We’re on a mission to revolutionize the world of mortgages and put the power, and the keys, where they belong—in your hands.
LendingHome, ranked by Forbes as one of the 50 hottest fintech companies to look out for in 2018, brings together the best people and most advanced technology to reimagine the mortgage process from the ground up. Our goal is to be the best way to get a mortgage. In the process of chasing this big goal: we’ve become the fastest growing marketplace lender to date, have grown to over 300 staff, raised $167MM in venture capital, and are uniquely positioned to be the world’s leading mortgage marketplace. LendingHome is growing rapidly towards becoming the next great financial services brand powered by the most advanced mortgage platform in the world.
The Decisioning Team:
Making loans is hard and for most lenders it takes a lot of manpower to get it done. It requires a lot of people across several teams checking thousands of fields and documents over hundreds and hundreds of pages. Doing so without making mistakes, wasting time and keeping quality high has been impossible for all lenders. LendingHome is on a mission to change that, and The Decisioning Team is what allows us to get there. While partnering closely with Risk Management, Compliance, Underwriters and Operations teams, you will power us forward into the realm of possible. You’ll work on improving information transparency, policy management and enforcement, exception handling controls, and analyze data in real time to stop loans in their tracks so we don't spend human capital on a loan that isn’t worth our time.
As an effective team member, you will be a self-guided contributor. You will build significant, high quality, back-end and/or full-stack business applications by applying best practices. You will be a strong partner to internal teams such as product management, data, and operations. You will also help improve team process (which doesn’t mean adding more meetings) and collaborate to conquer large legacy mortgage process challenges.
