Leland Saylor Associates has immediate opportunities for full time remote positions assisting FEMA’s disaster recovery efforts.
We are seeking qualified professionals join our team supporting various FEMA contracts. We are looking for professional staff to support FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers as a Costing Specialist. The ideal background includes technical experience in the design and/or construction of public infrastructure. Valuable skill types and experience include: engineers, architects, cost estimators, construction inspectors/managers.
A key element of work will entail the development of project cost estimates using RS Means.
Prior experience with FEMA’s Public Assistance Program is ideal. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which includes a moderate background investigation.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen per contract requirements
- Familiarity with FEMA’s Public Assistance/CRC program is highly desired
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance which involves a Moderate Background Investigation with fingerprint and credit checks
- Undergraduate degree preferred with 2-5 years construction /FEMA experience
- Experience using RS Means estimating software
