Field Solution Engineer – Leia Inc.

Who We Are

Leia is creating a next-generation content platform enabling 3D experience by using nanotechnology in 2D equipment. Forbes deems Leia the World’s 3D Lightfield Tablet -- how the world interacts with films, friends, and followers will never be the same. You will be part of Leia’s Business Development Team. 

What You’ll Do

 

You will support Leia’s B2B clients by resolving any technical issues and managing our internal IT systems. This requires being familiar with our available content/apps and what we have currently in development. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their pre and post sale experience is at its best and ensure that they can continue to create on our Lightfield platform. New updates on client situations may come directly from your point of contact with the customer or from the sales representative associated with them. Leia has clients around the world, so you will be expected to support them remotely.



Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Lead pre and post sale support for clients’ Lightfield products and projects
  • Manage clients’ enrolled devices in our MDM system by updating/creating policies and enrolling new client devices
  • Ensure clients have access to their required Leia Demo Apps based on use cases
  • Support clients using Unity, Unreal, and other SDKs to create content for their Lightfield products
  • Resolve clients’ hardware and software issues with the display platforms
  • Communicate with our sales representatives and their points of contact for client projects
  • Partner with internal engineers to troubleshoot and uncover additional opportunities for program expansion
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
  • Establish customer rapport and acceptance

 

What You’ll Have

 

  • Experience in the areas of computer science, e.g., Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Software Engineering, or similar
  • 2 years experience in programming skills in C#, Java, and/or Python
  • 2 years experience in modern games engines such as Unity or Unreal
  • 2 years of experience in system programming, gaming, or related fields
  • 5 years of experience in technical pre and post sales roles 
  • 5 years of experience working with Windows/Android systems, PCs, and tablets
  • You can think creatively to debug and solve complex, hard to reproduce problems
  • Working in a consultative role influencing growth, program management, or change in business, project, or process management
  • Organizational change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Developing client-facing communication or materials

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional active listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages and build confidence in executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and apply critical thinking skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Working experience with VR/AR/3D solution is a plus
