What is the role about?
As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for growing market share by selling Leaseweb IaaS solutions in the BENELUX market, preferably with experience in selling colocation proposition within the DC market. You will contribute to the development and execution of sales plans and manage that the defined sales targets are met. As a local BDM, and with your knowledge and network, you will take ownership of all kinds of relationships and business deals with potential - and existing clients. This position is characterized by independence, freedom of action, drive and a sense of responsibility, naturally alongside a commercial focus.
- Solid direct sales experience and a proven track record within Colocation market.
- Go-Getter, willing to go the extra mile to pitch and close a deal
- Natural behavior building eco systems or partnerships.
- Keen on Market Knowledge/Information to drive own performance
- Naturally you develop, safeguard and transfer account intelligence, domain and market knowledge
- You prosper making your colleagues successful as well
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/CloudStack), network (Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, VPN, load balancing, firewalling) and server (Dell, HP, IBM) technologies
- Excellent command of Dutch and English languages both spoken and written (close to native)
- EU citizen and have the legal right to work in The Netherlands
- An assessment will be part of the selection process.
