We’re looking for a future-focused, results-driven product marketing leader who is excited to take a lead role in defining and elevating LearnUpon's positioning within the competitive LMS market. As Director of Product Marketing at LearnUpon, you will lead a global team of product marketers, analyze trends, know the competition, drive market research, and develop a GTM strategy to accelerate LearnUpon’s growth. This is a critical role that requires excellent project management, communication, storytelling, analytical thinking, and planning skills.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate two talented Product Marketing Managers.
  • Use your mastery of writing, and storytelling to elevate LearnUpon’s positioning.
  • Craft value-based positioning and messaging frameworks and mentor the team to flex their storytelling muscles.
  • Drive the creation of key GTM collateral from data sheets, to website copy, scripts, emails, product walkthroughs and new feature announcements.
  • Use market research to understand and develop buyer personas, value proposition, messaging, GTM strategy for current & new markets as well as current and future products.
  • Be the voice of the customer to guide and develop a successful GTM plan to accelerate growth in existing markets & successfully launch into new markets.
  • Define, own, and drive compelling thought leadership narratives that strategically positions LearnUpon and drives engagement with our target buyers.
  • Introduce and scale an analyst relations program that ensures key industry influencers are informed and engaged with Learnupon and our product updates.
  • Collaborate with our content, digital & web teams to develop content and strategies to generate demand and better engage our buyers, ultimately playing a key role in driving growth for LearnUpon.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with product and commercial teams to ensure product marketing is structured and aligned in the best way to support the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Build industry-leading sales tools, training and collateral (partnering with sales enablement) such as pitch decks, case studies, use cases, competitive positioning/ battlecards, and objection handling, etc.
  • Define, track and report on KPIs to demonstrate progress against objectives and share insights and intelligence across teams that informs and improves our GTM strategy.

What skills do I need?

  • You have 6+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech.
  • 2+ years management experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience building strong, collaborative cross-functional partnerships
  • Experience with product and sales organizations to develop a GTM strategy that delivers against a revenue number.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with experience crafting compelling narratives, sales tools, and content alongside enablement.
  • Proven experience in designing and establishing structures, systems, and processes to most effectively achieve the organization's objectives (i.e., product launch rollouts)
  • Expertise at developing differentiated positioning through customer insights, creating buyer personas, capturing the buyer journey
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with experience crafting compelling narratives, sales tools, and content alongside enablement.
  • Experience working and partnering with sales teams and engaging directly with customers.

  • Familiar with the work of Andy Raskin & April Dunford.
  • Experience working in the LMS/ Learning Tech industry.
