At SAP LeanIX, we are leading the charge in delivering our innovative Enterprise Architecture solution to over 1600 customers. Together with our Platform Engineering teams, you will not only ensure that we offer a scalable, flexible SaaS infrastructure - but you will be responsible for designing processes & solutions to support further scaling. Concrete responsibilities of the teams include domains like management of multi-tenant Azure infrastructure on a global scale, distributed customer backup and restoration capabilities and a state-of-the-art observability platform. In addition, the teams enable product engineers of LeanIX around core processes like service ownership and CI/CD to follow the engineering value: “We built it, we run it”. Technical Product Managers at SAP LeanIX are regular members of the product team, but with an additional level of software development expertise that makes it easier to excel while working with platform teams. You'll join a passionate, international team focused on creating business value and delivering impactful solutions for our colleagues and customers. 

 

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

  • Develop and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for the cloud platform, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Engage with internal customers and customer success staff to understand internal stakeholder pain points and gather insights that inform platform development and enhancements.
  • Lead the prioritization process for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. You will be responsible for the team’s backlog and roadmap - the topics the team is working on, and in which order. Together with your team, you have full responsibility from product discovery through delivery to customer value
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric features that improve the overall developer and customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive products to ensure our product remains a market leader in terms of innovation and performance.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the robustness and scalability of the infrastructure and ensure continuous improvement.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and fulfilling the needs of internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong technical and academic background, with hands-on experience as an engineer.
  • Strong ability to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and technical constraints to drive product decisions and roadmaps.
  • Proven experience in understanding user needs, translating those into product requirements, and delivering solutions that enhance the user experience.
  • Enjoying an agile software development process of a large SaaS software company.
  • Work cross-functionally with diverse teams and act as a collaborative leader within the leadership triad of your team to execute on product initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders – fluent in English.
